The Pro-Graad EXC Ceramic-Grain Convolute Deburring Wheel is engineered for demanding metalworking applications requiring medium to heavy deburring and consistent surface finishing. Measuring 6 inches in diameter by 1 inch wide with a 1-inch arbor hole, this 9C Fine wheel combines a firm 9-density construction with fine-grade ceramic abrasive. Its dense, conformable convolute design maintains contact with contours, edges and complex shapes while running smoothly. The wheel is suited for medium-to-heavy precision deburring, weld blending, surface defect removal, cleaning and finishing. Ceramic abrasive performs especially well on stainless steel, high-alloy steels, titanium alloys and other difficult-to-machine metals. The durable structure helps expose fresh cutting edges under appropriate working pressure while limiting loading, smearing and excessive heat buildup. The wheel produces controlled, repeatable results without aggressive gouging, undercutting or distorting properly supported workpieces. It can be operated wet or dry and is suitable for metal fabrication, aerospace, builders’ hardware, medical instruments, plumbing fixtures, foundry work, shipbuilding and general industrial maintenance. One wheel and a telescoping arbor adapter are included. The adapter provides compatibility with 1/2-inch, 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch shafts, allowing the 1-inch arbor wheel to fit several common bench motors, grinders and finishing machines. Confirm machine compatibility and operating speed before use. Never exceed the wheel’s rated maximum RPM. Use required machine guards and approved personal protective equipment. Apply moderate, consistent pressure and allow the ceramic abrasive to cut. Excessive pressure may reduce control, increase heat and shorten service life. Inspect the wheel and mounting components before every operation.
