Pro-Graad Bench Grinder Motor Shaft Extension, 1/2"-12 LH to 5/8"-11 LH, 7”

Expand the versatility of a compatible older bench grinder with the Pro-Graad 7" Bench Grinder Motor Shaft Extension. Compatible fit Delta, Duracraft, Rockwell and Delta-Milwaukee bench grinders manufactured primarily during the 1970s through 1990s, this extension fits motor shafts with a 1/2"-12 LEFT-HAND thread. The adapter features a 1/2"-12 LEFT HAND female threaded connection on the motor side and a 5/8"-11 Left Hand male threaded shaft on the wheel side. It is intended for installation on the LEFT SIDE of a compatible bench motor/grinder. Always verify your grinder's shaft diameter, thread pitch and thread direction before ordering. At 7 inches long, the extended shaft moves the working wheel farther away from the grinder motor housing. This additional clearance makes it easier to work with larger parts and provides improved access when using compatible polishing and buffing wheels. The supplied wheel clamping flanges provide up to approximately 1.5 inches of mounting space between the flanges, accommodating a variety of compatible wheel thicknesses. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the shaft extension provides excellent durability, wear and corrosion resistance. Each kit includes one Pro-Graad 7" motor shaft extension, two 5/8" ID wheel clamping flanges and one 5/8"-11 Left hand fastening nut, providing the primary components needed to convert LEFT SIDE of a compatible older vintage bench grinder for polishing and buffing applications.
