The Pro-Graad Grinder Adapter Flange Kit provides a reusable solution for mounting compatible 7/8" arbor grinding wheels onto large angle grinders and vertical shaft grinders equipped with a standard 5/8"-11 right-hand threaded spindle. Designed primarily for 7" and 9" grinders, this adapter kit allows compatible depressed-center and saucer-style wheels to be securely mounted without requiring a permanently attached disposable hub. It is ideal for shops and professionals who want the flexibility to use hubless grinding wheels while reusing the mounting hardware. The kit is compatible with appropriate Type 27, Type 28 and Type 29 wheels ranging from 6" to 9" in diameter and approximately 1/16" to 1/4" thick. Wheels must have a 7/8" center arbor hole and be properly rated for the grinder and application. The heavy-duty steel backing flange measures 4-1/8" in diameter, providing a substantial mounting surface for compatible wheels. The included locking nut secures the wheel assembly to the grinder spindle, while the supplied 3/8" hex key makes installation and removal convenient.
